Weekly Update September 23rd

Grade 8 and 9- we completed our beginning of year baseline assessment for reading (CARS) that we do x3 times a year to collect data on the progress of reading strategies. We will complete our analysis on Monday in class. Next week, all activities will be centred around Truth and Reconciliation. Remember to wear an orange shirt on Thursday. No school on Friday- National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Weekly Update Sept 16th

 Grade 8- finished out Letter to Myself project (was due on Wednesday). Lunch time catch-up was provided on Wednesday and Thursday- thanks to all the students who came to put the finishing touches on their projects. We will be completing the CARS reading test next week.  Grade 9- finished our License Plate project (was due on Wednesday). Lunch time catch-up was provided on Wednesday and Thursday. We will be completing the CARS reading test next week.  Library times will be booked next week to sign-out books from the SWL library!
